Updated May 2007 Hi everyone.  I don't know if it is progress or laziness, but I have my hands full updating the www.lifechurchindy.com website and I have added my own www.myspace.com/tonyportell.  So I will be updating that site with more pics and family information.  The church website is where you can get updates on the church and current audio teachings. GOT SOME NEW PICS FROM MY INDY CAR EXPERIENCE. The wonderful people at life Church got togtehr and bought an once in a lifetime experience to ride in an Indy Car at the Indianapolis Speedway.  Click on News to see photos. Thanks, Tony

A little background... I am a follower of Jesus Christ, a husband, father and serve the family of Life Church in Indianapolis, IN as Lead Pastor.  I've been privileged to have started and franchised a business internationally, developed a short-term missions program called International STEP, served as a Police Chaplain in Colorado and Missouri, served as a youth pastor and campus pastor, and have served some wonderful people across the country while  enjoying it all with the love of my life, Lori and two incredible children, Clayton and Faith and a new daughter-in-law, Starla. Besides pastoring I am currently substitute teaching in two high schools (this keep me a little more relevant), and I am also working with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Dept. Victims Assistance Unit.
